DRAKE, Delores Mae – of Burton, age 88, passed away December 16, 2014 at Briarwood Manor. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 10 AM Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Fr. Carl Simon officiating. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Delores was born in Flint, MI on October 25, 1926, daughter of the late Valentine and Hattie (Suchon) Glomson. She married Lawrence Drake and he preceded her in death on June 28, 1982. Delores worked at Fessler and Bowman as a secretary, attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and hunting.
Delores is survived by her siblings, Henrietta Sordyl, Donna Vowell, Marge (Ernie) Kravat, Fred (Shirley) Glomson, Chet (Nancy) Glomson and Judy (Jim) Gordon; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
