RUPP, Jack L. – Of Clio, formerly of Swartz Creek, age 90, died Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Cranberry Park Memory Care.
Visitation 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 until the time of the service.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cardinal Hospice, 6097 Westside Saginaw Road, Bay City, MI 48706.
Jack was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on August 21, 1931.
He graduated from Grand Blanc High School.
Jack married Doris Seitz on January 13, 1971.
He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was a proud member of AA for many years.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, crossword puzzles, was a big sports fan and enjoyed anything on ESPN, playing cards, bowling and spending time with his family.
Mr. Rupp retired from GM Fisher Body and was a member of UAW Local #581.
Surviving are children, Danny (Sheryl) Seitz,
Greg (Suzie) Seitz,
Mike (Pam) Rupp,
Curt Seitz and
John (Kelly) Rupp;
7 grandchildren, Traci, Tanda, Jessica, Kenneth, Eric, Shannon and Justin;
17 great-grandchildren;
brothers and sisters, Chuck Rupp, Bob (Beth) Rupp, Dick (Marie) Rupp, Tom (Barb) Rupp, Mike (Paulette) Rupp and Pat (Lou) Rupp, Elspeth Ann Long, Suellen (Mike) Thomas and Nell (Loren) Bell;
sister-in-law, Barb Rupp;
several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Elspeth Rupp and wife, Doris; brothers, Bill (Rita) Rupp and Don Rupp; sisters, Judy Hoerner and Nancy Sowash; sister-in-law, Mary Rupp; brothers-in-law, Jerry Long and Jack Sowash.
