HAGAN, Joseph – of Flint, age 58, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 1PM, Thursday, September 14, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St. Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. There will be one hour of visitation prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Special Olympics or the Berneda Home in Flint, in Joseph’s memory.
Joe was born in Flint, MI on February 5, 1965, son of the late William “Bill” and Agnes (McAuliffe) Hagan. He was a graduate of Kearsley High School Class of 1985.
Joe loved spending time with his family and taking pictures of family events. Joe liked trips to the Casino, movies, Walmart and Disney. He especially liked Disney Princesses, coloring and expanding his extensive movie collection. He enjoyed working at Ponderosa and McDonalds, there wasn’t a restaurant that he didn’t enjoy visiting.
Joe had a big heart and loved people, everyone that had the good fortune of meeting him loved him too.
Joseph is survived by his 3 loving sisters, Anne (Gary) Guidos, Kathleen (Jim) Slezak and Margaret (Terry) Kohler; 7 nieces, Amanda (Tim) Byron, Alyssa (Joel) Langton, Bridgette Slezak, Gabrielle Slezak, Abigail Guidos, Keeley Kohler and Kyra Kohler; nephew, Jack Slezak; great nieces, Payton and Avery Langton and Macy Byron; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Agnes Hagan, and sisters, Agnes and Theresa Hagan.
