STRATTON, Patricia Ann (Terrell) – we are heartbroken to announce Patricia Ann Stratton (Terrell), age 82, left us on Saturday, December 09, 2023, in her home, surrounded by loved ones in Plant City, Florida after a brief battle with cancer.
Pat was born to her late parents, Athel and Maleta Terrell on November 21, 1941 in Weona, Arkansas. She graduated from Beecher High School in Flint, Michigan in 1960 and always enjoyed attending class reunions. Pat was a member of the UAW and retired from General Motors, AC Spark Plug. She was a dedicated and tireless Mother, Grandma, and “Gigi” to many. Pat loved to garden and was proud to beautify the places where she lived. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and passing recipes down through the generations. Pat was extraordinarily generous, with a knack for gift-giving and quietly supporting anyone she met who needed a helping hand. Her sense of humor and encouraging words will be missed by the countless family, friends and neighbors who have been touched by her love.
Pat is survived by her 3 children, Susan (Roy) Little, Michael Marzonie II and Rich Crow; 6 grandchildren, Marisa (Shahram), Sara (Josh), Brooke, Brittini, Jordan and Tyler; 5 great-grandchildren, Reid, Emory, Abygayle, Aubrie and Zacharey; stepchildren; special nieces and nephews; loving sister-in-law, Carol Terrell and friend Judi Lewis. She is also dearly missed by her adoring dog, Wally. Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Stratton; parents, Athel and Maleta Terrell; brother, Lee Terrell and pup, Marley.
Throughout her life, Pat held an unwavering faith in God. Her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses, Matthew 21:22 “All things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.”
The family would like to thank Dr. Christie Samuels, Dr. Eugenia Glaros, Dr. Faiza Manji and Lifepath Hospice.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, January 5, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Pastor Scott Davidson officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Allen Funeral Home on Friday, January 5, 2024. Pat will be laid to rest at a later date in Arkansas alongside her late mother. In lieu of flowers, kind donations can be made to the Foundation Fighting Blindness at www.fightingblindness.org, in Pat’s memory.
