OSOSKI, Paul Leonard – Of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church at a later date.
Cremation has taken place.
Paul was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 13, 1932, the son of the late Paul E. and Rose A. (Swantek) Ososki.
He graduated from the University of Detroit in 1954.
On August 7, 1954 he married his first wife, Irene Frances Cutting at St. Hyacinth Church in Detroit and she preceded him in death on July 19, 1986. On October 20, 1989 he then married Marlene Ila Davis at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church.
He was a member of Michigan Singing Knights, 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus; member of Holy Family Catholic Church and member of the Elks Glee Club.
He loved life and family.
Mr. Ososki was an accountant for GM for 33 years, retiring in 1987. He did accounting for small businesses during his career and after; really enjoying the work to help support his family.
He was very proud of his Polish heritage and loved to dance and sing.
Surviving are wife, Marlene;
children, John (Teresa) Ososki and Sally (James) Lerchenfeldt;
step-children, Marilee (Farrel) Summers and Lisa (Jim) Nash;
daughter-in-law, Debra Ososki;
grandchildren, Paul (Jen), Lindsay (Ryan), Michael (Sarah) and Steven (Kristin);
step-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Storm, Owen and Kendall;
great-grandchildren, Emily, Blake, Madilyn, Jude and Luca;
siblings, Cecilia, Maryann, Leonard and Larry;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Frances; son, Paul Robert and brother, Gerald.
In lieu in flowers, contributions may be made to the University of Detroit-Mercy Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of Paul L. Ososki.
