PAVELOCK, John H. II – of Montrose, age 61, died on Monday, August 9, 2021, at his residence with family by his side. Honoring his wishes, John’s body has been donated to the University of Michigan Medical School for science and research. A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, from 1PM until 5PM at Roger’s Lodge – 219 Roger’s Lodge Dr. in Clio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society – Hope Lodge in Cleveland, Ohio.
John was born in 1959, in Michigan to Dewey and Carole Pavelock. He graduated from Davison High School. John married Connie Kauppila and they enjoyed 40 years together. He retired from General Motors Flint Assembly with 43 years seniority and was a proud member of the UAW Local # 598. John loved hunting and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, tinkering, and all the family animals. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, and playing with his grandchildren he was a very proud and happy grandpa.
Surviving are: Wife, Connie Pavelock; Daughters: Candy Vaughn, and Joy Newman; Son, John (Samantha) Pavelock; Grandchildren: Katherine, Chase, Allison, and Rita; Mother, Carole Pavelock; Siblings: Debbie (Dave) McCauley, Gary (Becky) Pavelock, and Mary Dameron (Kelly); Many special nieces, nephews, other loving family members and dear friends.
