FORSYTH, James Charles – of Clio, age 74, died peacefully on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at home with family by his side. Honoring his wishes, cremation will be taking place. A memorial service will be held 11AM Monday, August 29, 2022, at Richfield Church of the Nazarene – 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd., in Otisville. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
James was born December 19, 1947, in Flint, Michigan, to the late George and Ruth (Mason) Forsyth. He was a lifelong Clio resident and graduated from Clio High School. James married Mary Jane Perez in 1968. Mr. Forsyth retired from General Motors with 35 years of service. He attended Richfield Church of the Nazarene where he was active in bible study. James enjoyed sailing, outside activities, riding motorcycles, woodworking, and traveling – especially out West.
Surviving are: Wife, Mary Jane Forsyth; Daughter, Maryjane Beegle; Granddaughter, Brittney (Kris) Potter; Grandson, Jeffrey Berlin; Great grandchildren: Ember, Sawyer and Finn Potter; Sister, Eileen Hutchinson; Brother, George (Mary) Forsyth.
