HANK, Chester - Of Grand Blanc, age 88, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at his residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 8am Friday, June 23, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc,
Father Joseph J. Krupp officiating.
Cremation will take place following the Mass.
Contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church.
Visitation 11am-2pm and 3-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Scripture Service will be held 6pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Chester was born in Goetzville, Michigan on April 30, 1935, the son of the late Joseph and Victoria (Bilcki) Hank. Chester graduated from Sault Ste. Marie High School, Class of 1953. He was very involved in many groups and was a fixture of Holy Family Catholic Church. Chester was the previous co-owner of William Floyd Heating and Air Conditioning. He was past President of the Flint Area Sheet Metal Contractors Association and a member of the Knights of Columbus #6742 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Chester enjoyed golfing, playing cards, snow skiing, fishing, being up north, traveling and spending time with his family.
Surviving are children, David (Beth) Hank and Victoria (Jim) Dallas;
grandchildren, Nathan(Jenn) Hank, Alexander Hank, John Hank, Nicole Jones, Darrian (Chris) Trillo, Mikaela and Isabella Dallas;
great-grandchildren, Oliver Hank, Miles Hank and Grayson Trillo;
special friend, Sue Eremia;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce and children, Michael Hank and Jeanne Hank.
