Dale William Bradley of Burton, Michigan, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the age of 68.
Dale was born on November 9, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, to Donald and Margaret Bradley. He graduated from Fenton High School and worked as a truck driver for many years before becoming a shop mechanic, specializing in manufacturing, robotics, and various repairs. Dale was skilled with his hands and was never afraid to tackle a challenge.
A lifelong sports fan, Dale loved watching baseball and football and reminiscing about playing football in high school while cheering on his favorite teams. He was an avid NASCAR fan and had a special appreciation for cars. Dale also enjoyed taking out the boat; being out on the water, soaking up the sun, cracking open a cold beer, and chatting with friends, especially the ladies, were some of his greatest joys.
Those who knew Dale well understood that there was much more to him than meets the eye. While he could be intimidating and had a stubborn streak, underneath it all he was a big softy. Dale was generally reserved and kept to himself. He was straightforward, never sugarcoated his words, and always spoke his mind. With Dale, you always knew where you stood. His sarcasm and dry sense of humor might not be for everyone, but those who understood him appreciated the humor behind his sometimes-gruff exterior.
Dale's greatest love was for his family. Although he didn't often express his emotions openly, his devotion to his daughters and grandchildren was evident. He was a proud father to Angie and Megan, who appreciated their sometimes headstrong but undeniably loving dad. Dale's four grandchildren held an irreplaceable place in his heart, and his affection for them was clearly reflected in the time they spent together.
Dale is survived by his daughters Angie (Jeramie Freeburg) Barta and Megan (Joe Ward) Bradley; his four cherished grandchildren, Nolan, Pierce, McKayla, and McKendra; his brother David (Mary) Bradley; and his beloved nieces, Martha and Katie Rose. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Maggie Bradley, and his sister, Connie O'Shea.
In accordance with Dale's wishes, cremation has taken place, and no formal services are being held at this time. A celebration of Dale's life will be held on November 7th, 2026 at the Fenton Fraternal Order of Eagles at 2pm. 1490 N Leroy St, Fenton, MI. 48430.
The family encourages everyone to wear their favorite sports team shirt.
