Joseph Arthur Wheatley, of Mt. Morris, MI, age 31, passed away on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025, at his residence.
Joseph was born on November 23rd, 1993, at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, MI. Son of Jeffrey Arthur Wheatley and Lisa Marie Croasdell.
Joseph's daughters were the light of his life, his entire world.
He loved spending time with all of his family and friends and making beautiful memories that we will all hold on to and cherish forever.
He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, how he always loved to crack jokes and be silly. No matter the circumstances, he always tried to make everyone laugh.
He leaves behind his precious daughters, Annalisa Faye-Marie Wheatley and Amelia Joann Wheatley, and their mother, Alesha Marie Hanners. Sisters Patrisha Miller (Draper) and Sara Bannen (Draper) and his brother Paul Draper Jr. Step-sister & brother Alexandria Nau and Kevin Nau. Nieces and nephews are Alexia Guerra, Devin Guerra, Alyvia Miller, Brent, Lance, and Nathaniel Bannen and Alycia Draper. Grandmothers Joanne Wheatley and Judith Stardevant. Father Jeffrey Wheatley and Stepdad Rex Robinson. Aunts Kelli Wheatley (Leslie), Kym Wheatley (Johnson), and Angelique Warton, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Marie Croasdell, and grandfathers Arthur Paul Wheatley and Robert "Fuzzy" Seese. Uncles Brent Croasdell and Richard Hewitt. Along with many other friends and family, he loved dearly. Teresa Faye Hanners, whom he called his second mom after he lost his mother. His best friends, whom he called his brothers, were Scott Patterson, Jeremiah Groshong, and Johnny Rousseau.
Although Joseph's time with us on Earth was cut short, his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
