Curtis David Turner - Age 75, of Flint, passed away September 20, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel- 8138 Miller Rd, Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place from 11AM until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
Curtis was born January 27, 1951, in Flint, Michigan to the late Eugene and Florence (Strong) Turner. He was a 1969 graduate of Carmen High School. Curtis owned and operated his own lawn and snow removal service for many years. He was a master gardener and was the "go-to guy" for any home remodeling, building, electrical, or handy-man work.
Curtis is survived by his sister Phyllis Terry; sister-in-law Karen Turner' nieces and nephews Mark, Jason, Jon, Shayna, Amy and Laura; many great-nieces and nephews; and his special companion, his dog Suzie.
He is preceded in death by his significant other of over 40 years, Peggy Riddell; parents Eugene and Florence (Strong) Turner; special second mom Syble Swafford; brothers Clarence Turner and Douglas (Beverly) Turner; and great-niece Siouxsie Alfaro.
