LANGDON, Julia Marie - age 51, of Fenton, died Monday, October 24, 2016 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Saturday, October 29, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Fr. Jim Rolph celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Thursday and 2-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Friday night. Visitation will also be held 9:30 - 10:30 AM Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Powers Catholic High School (http://www.powerscatholic.org/give-now). Julia was born June 25, 1965 in Peru, IL, the daughter of John E. and Nancy (Hebel) Schaenzer. She was a graduate of Powers Catholic High School and the University of Michigan - Flint. Julia married Robert Langdon on December 13, 1997. She was the Regional Director of Reimbursement for Trinity Health Systems in Novi. Julia was very active at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and School and Powers Catholic High School. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Surviving are: husband, Robert Langdon; daughter, Natali; mother, Nancy Schaenzer of Davison; seven siblings, Linda Schaenzer, John Schaenzer, Jim Schaenzer, Tom Schaenzer, Becky Schaenzer, Marta (John) Farber, and Patti Schaenzer; many nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Deloryes Langdon. Julia was preceded in death by: her father, John; brother, Peter Schaenzer; and brother-in-law, Brian Langdon. Friends may share an online tribute on the obituary page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
