CURTIS, Kathryn E. “Kathie” - Of Grand Blanc, age 76, died Thursday, July 14, 2022 at The Oaks at Woodfield.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Those desiring may make contributions to American Heart Association, Parkinson’s Foundation or American Cancer Society.
Kathie was born in Flint, Michigan on December 3, 1945, the daughter of the late Darcy and Mary Jean (Barnaby) Jones.
Kathie managed several retail stores throughout her life.
She enjoyed going to the casino, bargain shopping and garage sales.
She loved arts and crafts with her great-granddaughter, Hunter.
Above all else, Kathie was a special mother, aunt, friend and “Nanny” to her loving grandchildren, as they called her.
Surviving are children, Kaye (Chuck) Cole,
Pat Curtis
and Heather (Norm Cluckey) Curtis;
grandchildren, CJ (Lacy) Curtis, Kayton (Christian) Poehner, Jessica Curtis and Justin Green;
great-granddaughter, Hunter Curtis;
6 bonus great-grandchildren;
niece, nephew; aunt, Madelyn of Colorado;
very special friend, Larry “Burb” Marshall.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sandy Grey.
