Calbert K. Davis (Anderson) was born November 8, 1983 in Toledo, Ohio to Calbert K. Anderson and Steffaney Y. Sanders (Davis). At the age of 4, his parents relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where he resided until his passing, on December 1, 2010, as a result of cardiac arrest. Calbert, most commonly, known as Kenny to family and friends was enrolled at the School of Technology, Westwood College, majoring in Network Engineering and was on the dean’s list each semester. Earlier in his life, Kenny excelled at athletics. He played little league baseball and later played freshman football for his high school. Upon attending his first Atlanta Falcons professional football game with his dad, Kenny became an avid fan of the team and followed them so closely you would have thought he was one of the coaches. He was also an exceptional artist who created a multitude of artwork, which is still being enjoyed by many to this day. He later turned his focus to producing Hip Hop music as a DJ and dawned the nickname “2K Davis” and recorded over 100 songs. He was the type of person who always had a funny joke and a warm smile for you when you met him. However, his best attribute was how he truly cared for others. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Leah Davis-Washington; (Great Grandparents) Claudia and Joseph E. Sykes; (Great Aunts) Doris Jean Fontaine and Ola Mae Anderson. Kenny leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Calbert Anderson and Steffaney Sanders; siblings, Tiffaney and Christopher; stepmother, Deirdre O. Anderson; grandparent, Joyce D. Powell-Miller; nephew, Cameron Aubri Anderson; aunt, Janet Trout; great aunt, Florence Anderson; uncles, Joseph Davis and James Trout; great-uncles, Harrison Anderson Jr. and Charles Anderson; cousins, Winston Fontaine, Alicia Anderson, Angela Anderson, Gregory Trout and a host of other loving family and kind friends. He will always be remembered and deeply missed. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday December 11, 2010 at The Warren A.M.E.
