HALL, Phyllis Evelyn, age 91, of Grand Blanc, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Wynwood of Grand Blanc. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Kirkridge Presbyterian Church, 8070 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. Rev. Glenn G. Grant officiating. Phyllis was born September 3, 1922 in Great Falls, Montana the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Mikulla) Wise. She married Robert James Hall on October 21, 1944 in New Orleans. She enjoyed gardening, golf, tennis, and playing cards. She loved being a gracious hostess to family and friends. Surviving are her husband of nearly 70 years, Robert; 3 daughters, Patricia (Carl) Lundgren, Gail (David) Areaux, Susan (Daniel) Lechota; grandchildren, Mark (Shelly), David (Amy), Tony, Andrea (Erich), Liz (Jay); 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Elaine (Jack) Kavanah, Fran Wise; many nieces and nephews, especially David (Doris) Hill, Nancy (Andy) Rheude. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Natalie Walsh. The family extends many thanks to everyone at Wynwood of Grand Blanc for their wonderful care, especially Mela, Joanne, Melissa, Marynell, Marilyn, Tyler and Karen; and Residential Hospice nurse, Sue.
