BARRETT, June Inez - Age 89, of Swartz Creek, died Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Brad Foster officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Those desiring may make contributions to Meal on Wheels Genesee County.
June was born June 20, 1932 in Flint the daughter of Judd and Mable (DeNioud) Slawson. She was a 1950 graduate of Flint Central High School. She married Douglas Barrett and he preceded her in death 2002. She retired from AC Spark Plug.
Surviving are: her grandchildren, James (Jenny) Beardslee of Reese, Gary Beardslee of Curran, Allen Beardslee of Flint, Mark (Sarah) Beardslee of Flint, and Vickie (Gabe) Garfield of Burton; 9 great grandchildren; and her caring and devoted neighbor, Kim.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patrice Beardslee; and son, Chris Barrett. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
