Bachman, Phyllis Arlene - Age 88, of Fenton, died January 2, 2022. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday January 7, 2022 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint, Entombment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation 6-8 PM Thursday with a 7 PM Rosary, and 10-11 AM Friday. All will be held at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Phyllis was born November 27, 1933 in Queens, NY, the daughter of Warren and Florence (Skoskie) Huff. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School. Phyllis married George Bachman on December 27, 1954 in Flint; he preceded her in death in 2002. Phyllis was a devout Catholic and long time member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Her life revolved around her family. Surviving are: children, Christopher Bachman, Brad (Jan) Bachman, Laura (Jody) Matherly, Susan (Paul) Hyde, Jeff Bachman, Tim (Christina) Bachman; daughter-in-law Gayle Bachman; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; sister Karen (Ron) Siegwald; brother Vincent (Linda) Care; sister-in-law Dorine Miller; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George Bachman; son Mark Bachman; daughter-in-law Suzanne Bachman; brother Aldo (Ruth) Care; sister Christine Care.
