LANE, Jackson Robert – of Montrose, age 24, died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his residence. Honoring the families wishes, cremation has taken place and family memorial service will be held. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Jackson was born December 21, 1995 in Flint, Michigan to Joel R. Lane and Kendra L. (Kitch) Atwell. He grew up in the Montrose most of his life but did move to Tennessee for a short time where he graduated from Polk County High School with the Class of 2014. Jackson worked alongside his cousins for the last 5 years at Lila Fence in Clio. Jackson was a huge health nut. When not working, he loved going to the gym, where he was a workout fanatic. He truly enjoyed hanging out with his nieces, spoiling them whenever he could; and was also fond of his 2 dogs Pete and Lucy.
Surviving are: Mother, Kendra (George) Atwell of Burt; Siblings, Joseph Lane of TN, Katie Atwell of Alpena, Joseph Atwell of Alpena and Alesha Russell of Grand Rapids; Grandmothers, Joan Kitch of Flushing and Barbara Lane of TN; Best Friends, Jake VanCleav and Jamison Toma both of New Lothrop; Special cousins, Justin “Deli” Delagarza and Christopher Atwell; he is also survived by several nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his father Joel Robert Lane in 2020, grandfather Joel David Lane in 2020, grandfather Mart Kitch in 2013 and his aunt Shannan Kitch in 2013.
