Robert A. Seles, 84, of Walbridge died January 2, 2011 at Bay Park Community Hospital. He was born in Chicago Illinois on May 31, 1926 to (Albert (Mildred Gliot) Seles. He married Gertrude E. LuBien on September 10, 1949 in Chicago. He was the owner of The former Bresler Ice Cream Shop at Southwyck and Woodville Malls and was also employed with The Devilbiss Co. Robert served his country in the Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife Gertrude, Sons: Robert (Linda) Seles Jr, William (Patricia) Seles, James (Christine) Seles, Grandchildren Joel (Kate) Seles, Sheila, Holly, and Samantha Seles. He was preceded in death by his grandson Anthony Seles.
Friends will be received in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 701 N. Main St. Walbridge, Ohio 43465 from 2-8 on Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Jerome Catholic Church 300 Warner St. Walbridge, with Father David Cirata officiating.
