LABELLE, Mary “Cathy” - Of Burton, age 87, died Monday, December 5, 2022 at her residence.
Visitation will be held 12-8pm with a time for sharing at 6pm Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the visitation.
Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Cathy was born in Fort Worth, Texas on August 18, 1935 the daughter of the late John and Mary (Garling) Cordova. On October 31, 1952 Cathy married Ernest LaBelle in Fort Worth, Texas. Cathy enjoyed going to the casinos, loved cooking, her grandson sneaking her popsicles was a true joy and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are children, Sherri LaBelle, who was also her devoted caretaker and John (Judy) LaBelle;
loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she cherished;
and sister, Margaret Scanlon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, sons, William, Richie and Steve, grandchildren, Greg and Shaun LaBelle, great-grandson, Shauny and 2 brothers, Red and Ray
