BAILEY, Wanda L. – Of Grand Blanc, age 80, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at MediLodge of Montrose.
Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Wanda was born in Alicia, Arkansas on December 12, 1934, daughter of the late Ivle and Beulah (Householder) Matney and was a resident of the Flint area since 1950, coming from Arkansas.
On May 26, 1951 she married William Bailey in Piggott, Arkansas.
She was greatly loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Surviving are son, Larry and wife Rebecca of Flushing;
daughter, Clela Sny of Florida;
son-in-law, Jeff Geisert;
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews;
sisters, Leona and Leta.
She was preceded in death by husband, Bill; daughter, Vicky Geisert and grandson, Marc Heme.
