WATERS, Evelyn Elizabeth (Yaklin) - Age 94, of Fenton, passed away June 30, 2022. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Burial will follow in Montrose Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10AM until the time of Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Evelyn was born May 20, 1928 in Pine Run, the daughter of Seward and Helen (Wilcox) Rowley and was a 1946 graduate of Clio High School. Evelyn was a longtime resident of Clio and Swartz Creek before moving to Fenton. She is survived by her children, Linda (Doug) Shear, Larry Yaklin, Dale Yaklin and Annette (Joe) Erber; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Elizabeth, Mary, Aaron, Sarah, Rachel and Leah; 8 great-grandchildren; special niece, Lisa Ajdini and family. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Yaklin in 1950 and he second husband, Harry Waters in 1992. step-daughter, Linda Waters; brothers, Eugene, Howard and Gerald Rowley; sister, Janet Townsend; special friend, Frank Koski. |
