Calvert, Carla Mayvine age 87 of Mt. Morris passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023. Funeral services have been made through Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint MI 48503. A memorial service will be held at 9:30 AM Friday June 23, 2023, at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd. Holly MI 48442. Cremation has taken place per Carla and her family’s wishes. Please remember Carla and her achievements as a member of the Flint Bowlers Hall of Fame, business owner and committed Voters Poll Worker. She enjoyed the company of others, playing cards, going to the casino, bowling, golfing and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends. Carla is survived by her children Duane Buchler, Michael Buchler, Rodger Buchler, Brenda Buchler, Lisa Zupan, George Calvert, siblings Ralph Olson, Anna Olson, Junior Olson, Darla Olson, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband George Calvert, parents Martin and Leila Olson and her brother Marvin Olson. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the family of Carla Calvert. |
