DeWITT, Morris Clinton – of Montrose, age 73, died Saturday, February 1, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be 2 PM Friday, February 7, 2014 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-9PM and on Friday from 11 AM until time of services at 2 PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Morris was born September 14, 1940 in Flint to the late Clinton and Josephine (Lusky) DeWitt and lived in Montrose for the last 30 years. He owned and operated DeWitt Auto Collision since 1966. He was a member of the Montrose Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4090 and had held many positions in the club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, cars, especially his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are: children, Brian DeWitt (companion Tammy Bailey) of Flushing, Jackie (Mike) Gunnell of Montrose; their mother, Barb (Marty) Drabek of Montrose; grandchildren, Jordie, Colin, Josh, Brandy and Amber; companion, Margie Hartman; brother, Ronald (Ladonna) DeWitt of Swartz Creek; many friends and family.
