MILLIMAN, Luella "JoAnn" “MeeMaw” – Of Flint Township, age 78, died Monday, December 14, 2020 at McLaren-Flint.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Roberts School or Central Elementary, both in Flushing.
JoAnn was born in Port Huron, Michigan on November 9, 1942, the daughter of the late John E. I and Luella Lily (Mathers) Arcond.
On December 23, 1984 she married Arthur Milliman in Flint.
She survived two bouts of colon cancer and pulmonary fibrosis and still found the strength to volunteer at the schools.
JoAnn worked for McLaren for 15 years and with Dr. Rosenbaum before, only retiring to care for her first grandson.
She enjoyed traveling, was always up for an adventure.
The family is mourning the loss of the family matriarch.
Surviving are husband, Arthur;
children, Timothy S. Webber, Laci N. Milliman-Beltz and
Spencer R. Milliman;
grandchildren, Christian L. Beltz and Samuel R. Milliman;
nieces and nephew, Stephanie R. (Matthew) Arcond-Taylor, Jeremy D. Arcond and Christine E. Arcond;
great-nieces and nephews, Pierce W.J. Taylor, Presley D. Taylor and Noah L. Hall;
brother, John E. (Cynthia) Arcond, II;
students and staff at St. Roberts School and Flushing Central Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her son, James T. Webber; aunts, Shirley Mayle and LaVina Mathers.
