REDDY, Daniel Lavern - Of Flint, age 81, died Saturday, May 27, 2023 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral Mass will be held 10am Friday, June 2, 2023 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G3139 Hogarth Avenue, Flint,
Father Anthony Strouse officiating.
Entombment in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 3-8pm Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Thursday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 9am Friday at church until the time of the Mass.
Daniel was born in Owosso, Michigan on May 28, 1941 the son of the late Stephen and Dorothea (Dean) Reddy. On November 15, 1969 he married Norma Louise Merrill and she preceded him in death in 2003. Daniel was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church for many years, Genesee Federation for the Blind, was a devout member of the Barn Society and the UAW. He enjoyed stamp and currency collecting, woodworking, Beep Ball, an avid sports fan, cross country skiing, bowling, fishing, reading and fireworks. Above all else, Daniel loved spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are children, Victoria Anne Reddy-Clements (Richard) and Daniel Stephen Reddy (Amanda);
grandchildren, Richie, Kelsey (Samantha), Courtney, Henry and Clara;
great-grandchild, Remi;
several friends and dear cousin, Lucille;
numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be loved and missed.
He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Crystal, brother, Bernard Reddy and sister, Beverly Natzel.
