Wilcox, Marianne N.- of Davison, formally of Clio, age 77, passed away peacefully Monday, March 7, 2022, surrounded by family. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 11, 2022, at St Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. Ken Coughlin officiating. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Thursday from 4PM until 8PM and Friday from 10AM until time of Mass at 11AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 7PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family for future designation.
Marianne was born April 3, 1944, to the late Anthony and Vlasta (Veselsky) LaFay. She was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. Marianne married Paul Wilcox on July 26, 1974. They shared 48 wonderful years together. She was a member of the St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Marianne enjoyed puzzles, crocheting, and putting a smile on everyone’s face. She was known for her baking and cooking skills. Her grandchildren were her world, she loved her family unconditionally. Marianne loved spending time with Paul at the cabin in New Berry, Michigan where many memories were made, more than anything she always went above and beyond for her family and made sure they knew they were loved. Above all she will be greatly missed by many.
Surviving are Husband: Paul Wilcox; Children: Sandi (George) Poulos, Doug (Debbi) Ciak, Laurie ( Doug) Elwell, David (Leslie) Ciak, and Paula (Gerald) Graves; Grandchildren: Mari Wilcox, Chris Hawkins, Kisha (Brandon) Phillips, Justin (Haley) Ciak, Lindsay (Jacob) Ahmann, Alexis Ciak, Brooke Ciak, Johnny Ciak, Zachary (Crystal) Ciak, Jeffrey Graves, Jessica Graves, and Julianne Graves; Great grandchildren: Jordin (Nick) Lutey, Jenna Stevens, Jaydin Wilcox, Charlie Smith, Sophie Smith, Max Smith, and Penelope Ciak; Great great grandchildren: Bentley Weaver and Berkley Lutey; her furry companion Lily.
