Kathleen (Kathy) Gail Conn, Age 60, Fenton, MI, passed away at home with family on Nov. 15, 2021, following a 2 yr, very hard fought, challenging battle with cancer.
Kathy was a 1979 graduate of Fenton High School, attended Mott and UofM Flint, while working for Creative Foam, Fenton, career began shortly after graduation. Her strong work ethic, vast production process experience propelled her into various Cost Estimation roles. Additional employers; Advantage Packaging lead to her final employer, Unique Fabricating, Auburn Hills, MI. The strong and loyal friendships she built throughout the years expanded and deepened with each new company at the professional and personal levels!
Kathy was very passionate about life, her daughter, family, friends, playing cards/games, participated in decades of league play in Bowling (HG-287), Golf (Hole in 1/Par 4), High School JV and Women’s Softball leagues, love of Movies, up north at the cottage, annual holidays in Hilton Head Island, SC and our extended 2.0 family and friends in Northern CA!
Kathy was an amazing single parent, wonderful mother to Katelyn Patricia Farnsworth, Age 21, Fenton, MI. Enjoyed supporting her daughter in musical, artistic/film and athletic interests! She is survived by her brother, Ronald Conn, 61, Ann Arbor, Sister, Patricia Conn, 58, Linden. Nephew, Ronald Conn III, Nieces, Kimberley Conn and Samantha Conn.
Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Conn, in 2011 (Gladwin, MI), father 2.0, Frederick Skeen, (Novato, CA) in 2015, mother, Shirley Clark Conn Skeen, (Fenton, MI) in 2018. Grandparents; Robert Conn, N.Ireland/MI, Lela Emma Bottoms/Conn, AR/MI, Harvey Benjamin Clark, MI, Gail Madeline Houck/Clark, Iowa/MI.
Kathy has made significant effort to reach out to so many friends and family in recent months. Please remember her as the strong, independent, very stubborn, amazing mother, fierce friend and cherished family member, full of life and LOVE!!! Kathy has requested a Celebration of Life event. This allows friends and family to share thoughts and memories with a Visitation with the Family the day prior. The timing is TBD at this time, please note a 10-14 day notice will be shared once determined and published in the Tri-County Times as well as Sharp Funeral Homes Website.
