BAKSA, Robert Lee – of Flint, MI, age 77, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023. The family will receive visitors 2-6 PM Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Cremation will take place following the visitation.
Bob was born in Flint, MI on May 26, 1946, son of the late Joseph and Jennie (Bodner) Baksa. He married Linda Dick on February 17, 1968 and she preceded him in death on May 2, 2017. Bob retired from General Motors in 2008 after 35 years of service. He was an avid bowler and he loved to grill. Bob also loved taking care of his cats and feeding his birds.
Bob is survived by 2 children, Jody Baksa and Lori (Mark) Griffin; 3 grandchildren, Holly (JP) Goodenough, Tyler (Chloe) Griffin and Karlee Griffin; great-grandson, Jackson Goodenough; 2 siblings, Joseph Baksa and Mary Ann (Edward) Chalut; brother-in-law, Jim Arnes; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jennie Baksa; wife, Linda Baksa; grandson, Johnny Barnett; 3 siblings, Rose Arnes, Patricia (Jerry) Clor and George Baksa; sister-in-law, Chris Baksa.
