Dahlia (Dolly) Gross - age 67, of Black River, MI, died on October 11, 2024. She passed away on vacation while enjoying the mountains in Colorado. Celebration of Life will be October 26, 2024, 2-5 at UAW Local 659, 4549 Van Slyke Rd, Flint, MI 48507. Dahlia was born on June 30, 1957 the only daughter of Gilbert C. and Angelica (Hernandez) Velasquez. She married Terry Gross on July 20, 1974. Dahlia worked at Flint Truck Assembly was a proud UAW member of Local 598. She loved being outdoors; tending to her flower garden, camping with friends, or hunting and fishing. Most importantly she loved her family.
Dahlia is survived her loving husband of 50 years, Terry; son Michael (Nicole) Gross; Grandkids, Erin (Klayton) Betz and Haden Gross; brothers, Jose Velasquez and Manuel Velasquez; Mother in-law, Sue Gross; Sister in-laws, Myra Erickson and Debbie Kelly; Brother in-law Toney Gross; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by Her beloved parents Gilbert and Angelica Velasquez; Father in-law, Melvin Gross; Sister in-law, Lorie Velasquez and Brother in-law Donald Erickson; Nephew, Dylan Gross. |
