Janet Rae Taylor was born to Helen Meeboer and Harry Pangle on May 2, 1937 in Flushing, MI and died on May 22, 2022 at Marlette Hospice Residence. Janet graduated from Flint Technical High School in 1955 and went on to work at the Buick Research Department. On December 8, 1956 she married Marvin Taylor, together they celebrated 60 anniversaries. Janet enjoyed attending auctions, garage sales, collecting and refinishing antiques. She was most happy when surrounded by family and always made every birthday and holiday special.
Janet is survived by her daughters Vicki and Laura Taylor; grandchildren Anne Curell and Steve Zimmerman; and ‘sister cousin’ Joanne Booher.
The family is grateful for the wonderful care she received at Devonshire Assisted Living and Marlette Hospice Residence.
Friends may visit on Friday, May 27th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel 542 Liberty Park, Lapeer, MI 48446. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Paul Gaymon will officiate. Donations may be made to United Hospice Service of Marlette and Genesee County Human Society.
