LASLEY, William Joseph - Of Grand Blanc, age 86, died Friday January 8, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. The family will be having a private funeral service.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on January 23, 1934 to the late Edward Lasley and Lena Miller. He was married to Sally Ann Keegan for 49 years and lived in Grand Blanc for over 55 years. He and Sally raised their five daughters and one son in a house with only one bathroom, pretty much qualifying him for Sainthood. He loved his family more than anything. He had the kindest, sweetest soul which made anyone who met him, completely adore him. He loved and appreciated the simple things in life, having brunch with his neighbor guys, Western movies, traveling and visiting with his family. William was a devout Catholic for over 50 years and member of Holy Family Parish. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War. William retired from the Fischer Body Grand Blanc Plant as a Manager of Shipping and Receiving. He had an amazing work ethic, he started working at the age of eight hustling papers in downtown Flint.
