Richard “Rick” Dee Sparks, of Flushing (formerly of Alma), Michigan passed away on February 5, 2021 at 73 years of age.
Beloved husband of Diane (Sedge) since May 8, 1987; adored father of Tracy (Tony) Emory and JoDee (Amanda) Sparks; proud grandpa of Kyle Emory (Madeline Hundley), Jay Emory, Kaitlin Sparks, and Charlie Sparks; dear brother of Judy King (Sparks). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Rick was born on May 27, 1947 in Alma, Michigan to Chester and Ruth (Britten) Sparks. He graduated from Alma High School and attended Central Michigan University. He proudly worked as a Court Officer. An avid golfer, Rick achieved his most memorable event with a Hole In One on September 22, 2019.
A memorial service will be planned at a future date. The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to McLaren Hospice of Davison in deep appreciation to their entire team. A special thank you to Tammy Krul.
