EX, Audrey Ardith (Eddy) – of Davison, MI, age 83, passed away Friday, December 22, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Richfield Union Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-1 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home.
Audrey was born in Flint, MI on August 21, 1940, daughter of the late Orville and Agnes (Musil) Eddy. She was a graduate of Atherton High School Class of 1958. On April 18, 1959, Audrey Eddy married Darwin Ex and he preceded her in death on June 21, 2022.
Audrey enjoyed gardening and the vibrant colors of blooming flowers. The tender care given to each plant reflected Audrey’s nurturing spirit. Upon retirement, Audrey and Darwin embarked on a new chapter of life, embracing the freedom of the open road in their RV. Traveling became a source of inspiration and discovery. Audrey enjoyed spending winters in the warmth of Florida, soaking in the sunshine. As we mourn Audrey's passing, let us celebrate a life well-lived.
Audrey is survived by her loving daughter, Suzanne (Pete) Ex-Adorno; sister, Patricia Burmeister; 2 sisters-in-law, Nancy Eddy and June Ex; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Agnes Eddy; husband, Darwin Ex; son, Gregory Allen Ex; 2 brothers, Robert (Jo) Eddy and Ronald Eddy; 2 brothers-in-law, Roger Ex and Arthur Burmeister.
