Randall Scott Vohwinkle, age 62, of Grand Blanc, Michigan passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022.
Randall was born May 7, 1960, in Flint, Michigan to the late John and Dorothy (Brown) Vohwinkle and was one of seven children. One of his many hobbies was cooking, especially his Thanksgiving dinners and he "put his heart and soul in everything he cooked." Travelling was also a large part of his life, and he loved going with his family venturing to nearly all 50 states, going on several cruises and visiting Europe. He was a very social guy, who enjoyed talking to people and making new friendships. Randall's home was the gathering house and he relished in spending time with his many family and friends. He had a deep love for various kinds of music, everything from Reggae to Christian music. Randall cherished his family, and especially his grandchildren who brought him so much joy. Randall will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege to know him.
Randall leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 43 years, Merita; loving children Jeremy Vohwinkle and Ashley (Paul) Borgen; precious grandchildren Savannah and Tyler Vohwinkle, and Joseph and Leo Borgen; dear siblings Lynda Jeffries, John (Janet) Vohwinkle, Robert (Angie) Vohwinkle, Ronald (Tracy) Vohwinkle, Donald (Judy) Vohwinkle and Sandra (Brad) Cook; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Randall is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Vohwinkle.
A visitation for Randall will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Brown Funeral Home - 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Service for Randall will be on Monday, August 1, 2022, at 11:00 am and officiated by Pastor Shea Prisk, with a visitation beginning at 9:00 am at Brown Funeral Home. Interment will be at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mount Morris, Michigan.
