HIBBS, Susan Rae - Age 56 of Mt. Morris, passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 16, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
Susan was born on October 13, 1968 in Flint, Michigan to the late Paul Edward, Sr. and Leah Rae Marie (Lake) Hibbs. She was a 1986 graduate of Beecher High School. Susan enjoyed watching NFL Football (Go Lions). She also enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews playing in sporting events. Susan liked spending time Up North in Tawas. She loved reading books, (especially scary stories) and crossword puzzles.
Surviving are her siblings, Beverly of Royal Oak, Paul and Ginger of Virginia, Cleon and partner Janna Vozar of Flint, Gary and Denise of Flushing, Joe of Virginia, Tim and Kim of Davison; Susie's partner, Dan Newman; Aunt Lorraine Bates of Kansas, Aunt Viola Farr of Arkansas; many nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her father and mother, Paul Edward, Sr. and Leah Rae Marie Hibbs; sister-in-law, Suzanne Hibbs of Virginia; niece, Jennifer Hibbs of Lapeer.
