MAY, DAVID J. – Of Burton, age 66, went to be with his Lord Friday, July 14, 2023 at Henry Ford Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 at the
at the Swartz funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Jason Terrian
officiating.
Burial in Littlefield Township Cemetery in Alanson, Michigan.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
David was born in Petoskey, Michigan on August 6, 1956 the son of Gordon and Shirley (Kerbersky) May.
He was an avid Coca Cola collector, enjoyed woodworking and watching hockey.
David was a former employee of Bendle Schools.
Surviving are wife, Veronica;
son, Jason May;
grandchildren, Corban May and Evan Bennett;
mother, Shirley May;
brothers, Lyle and wife Diane May and Jim May;
sisters, Ruth Holcomb, Judy and husband Larry Whitten, Mary and husband Matt Hoppe;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Bennett; father, Gordon May and brother, Daniel May.
