WEAVER, Beverly Mae - Of Flint, age 97, died Monday, December 9, 2024 at Symphony of Linden.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Phil Long officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service and burial of cremains in Sunset Hills Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to best Friends Animal Society.
Visitation 1-6pm Saturday and 10am Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Beverly was born in Flint, Michigan on January 8, 1927, the daughter of the late Kermit and Thelma (Simmerson) Simpson. She was a longtime employee of Carman-Ainsworth Schools. Beverly loved animals and the color purple. Above all else, Beverly loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are son, David (Josie);
Grandchildren, Suzanne McCartney, Chris Smith, Ben West, Jill West, and David Clevenger;
12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren;
Brother, Sonny Simpson;
Many nieces, nephews and cousins
She was also preceded in death by her husband John Weaver and daughters, Cathy and Becky.
