Dan Renick
Fishers, IN
In remembrance of a life well-lived, we say our goodbyes to Dan Renick, who passed peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on Friday, February 2nd, 2024, after a battle with brain cancer.
Dan grew up in Clio, Michigan, graduating from Clio High School and The University of Michigan with a BA in Business Administration. He married his high school sweetheart Vicki, having recently celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary last Fall. Together, they enjoyed a life of abundant adventures, joy, and family and friends. From snow and water skiing, to hot air balloons and whitewater rafting, golfing, travel, and time at the family cottage in Northern
Michigan, Dan and Vicki have shared a marriage blessed with love and laughter. Dan enjoyed
jogging and working out daily at the gym and was passionate about taking care of both his and his son’s yards and homes. Through career transfers, Dan and his family made their homes in Clio and Davison (Flint) Michigan, Tifton, Georgia, and Fishers (Indianapolis), Indiana.
In 2016, Dan and Vicki welcomed grandchildren into the family, becoming a model grandfather to his twin grandsons of whom he was incredibly proud, texting pictures to everyone he knew. He bought a pickup truck for adventures, built cardboard forts, played endlessly, and gave plenty of Hershey’s chocolate kisses.
Dan worked for General Motors and Delphi Automotive for 31 years, retiring from Delphi Electronics and Safety in Kokomo, IN at the ripe age of 53. Dan enjoyed a career rich in experience and travels, visiting every corner of the earth to support lean manufacturing and materials management teams he was incredibly proud of. He enjoyed his retirement, primarily time spent with his wife, beloved son and daughter (in-law), and grandchildren who meant the
world to him.
Dan is survived by his wife Vicki, son and best bud Scott (Jackie), grandsons Nolan and Noah. He is survived by his sister Mary (Bob) Harty, brother Mike Renick, several (great) nieces and nephews, as well as sisters and brothers-in-law. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Patricia Renick.
We invite family and friends to a celebration of Dan’s life on March 9, 2024. An open house will be held from 3-7 pm with a tribute to Dan at 4:30 pm at the Bluffs at Conner Prairie,13080 Allisonville Rd, Fishers, IN 46038. Additional information and RSVP link is available at
www.danrenick.com.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider a donation in Dan’s honor to the Hamilton
Southeastern Education Foundation’s Food for Thought program.

of Dan’s illness. |
