EVOY, Darlene Jane (Brandt)– of Davison, MI, age 75, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Interment immediately following the service in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors 3-7 PM Friday, January 27, 2023 and 10-11 AM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home.
Darlene was born in Lapeer, MI on March 5, 1947, daughter of the late Eldon “Bill” and Thelma (Feeley) Brandt. She married Ronald Evoy on June 27, 1964 at the Lutheran Church in Hadley, MI. He preceded her in death on July 7, 2014. Darlene enjoyed trips to the casino with her “Golden Girls”, Luann Williams and Sandy Austin. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Darlene is survived by 3 children Tina Boyce, Ronald (Anna) Evoy and Thomas (Tammy) Evoy; 5 grandchildren, Quinn (Megan) Boyce, Kiana (Kyle Filcek) Boyce, Kourtney Boyce, Hunter Evoy and Chloe Evoy; 4 great-grandchildren, Carson Diehl, Henry Diehl, Scarlett Boyce and Miles Boyce; 3 brothers, Elwyn (Georganna) Brandt, Rick (Carol) Brandt and Martin (Becky) Brandt; brother-in-law, Gordon Hitchcock; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon “Bill” and Thelma Brandt; husband, Ronald Evoy; grandson, Brandon Evoy; son-in-law, Roger Boyce and sister, Marilyn Hitchcock.
The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to her daughter-in-law, Tammy Evoy, for being there for her over the last several months.
