HILTZ, Dennis A. – of Flint, age 49, died Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital of Detroit. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday, April 10, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Jim Harvey officiating. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 12PM until 9PM and Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 1PM. Contributions may be made to the family.
Dennis was born December 28, 1967 in Flint, Michigan to Bob and Berniece (Cain) Hiltz. He graduated from Clio High School in 1986 and was a member of the football team. Dennis later attended Oakland University. He married the love of his life, Denora Fox on March 20, 2017. Dennis was an electrician most of his life. He was a member of Mt. Morris Christian Faith Church. Dennis enjoyed NASCAR, fast cars, and riding his Harley. He also enjoyed fishing, listening to music, playing guitar, singing and was an animal lover. Dennis was a fan of University of Michigan and Detroit Lions football, and Tigers baseball. He loved trips to East Tawas and Au Gres. Dennis will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Surviving are: Wife, Denora Hiltz of Flint; Daughters: Holly Hiltz of Flint and Brittany Hiltz of Swartz Creek; Step children: Robert Buschur and Kayla Buschur of Flint; Grandchildren: Addyson, Olivia, Adalynn, and one granddaughter on the way; Father, Bob (Leona) Hiltz of Sanford; Brothers: Bob (Chris) Hiltz of Seattle, WA, Gary (Denita) Hiltz of Clio, and Darrel Hiltz (Shelly) of Grand Blanc; Mother and father in law, Juanita and Dennis Fox; Nephews: Tony, Matt, Gary, and Nick; Nieces: Cheyanne, and Jenna; Special friends: Billy (Becky) Robinson, Scott (Sue) Straka, Larry Yaple, Dale Gunn, and Dan Newcombe; Loving furry companions: Lilly and Dozer.
