ANDERSON, Roland “Rol” L. – of Clio, age 79, died Monday, January 27, 2014 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Rol was born August 13, 1934 in Clio to the late Arnold and Madge Anderson. He married Suzanne St. Pierre on October 3, 1953 in Clio. Mr. Anderson retired from Consumers Power in 1991 with 38 years seniority. He had served on the Board of ELGA Credit Union. Rol enjoyed golfing, bowling and worked at the Buick Open for many years.
Surviving are: wife, Sue; children, Terri Anderson of Clio, Randy Anderson of Fenton, Tom Anderson of Clio; sister, Dolores Hitz of FL; several special nieces and nephews.
