Michelle (Mickey) Elaine Carnell age 62 of Flushing,
died at Durand Senior Care and Rehab Center on July 9, 2023.
Michelle was born on March 18, 1961 to Raymond W. and Janet L. (Shaw) Coy in Durand. Michelle graduated from Birch Run High School, Class of 1979. Michelle married the love of her life, Dane A. Carnell on February 18, 2012. He predeceased her on May 8, 2021.
Michelle was employed at Red Lobster for 36 years. Served as past President of the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 64.
Michelle is survived by her daughter, Ashley (James) Clymer; step children, Kaylynn (Leigh) Jackson, Dane II (Jackie) Carnell, Audra (Trevor) Conaway; 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Janice (William) VanWagner; brother, Robert Coy; brother-in-law, Dan (Jan) Carnell; sister-in-law, Debbie Carnell; second mom, Joyce McDonagh; and many nieces and nephews.
Michelle was predeceased by her husband, Dane Carnell; parents; and Gordon McDonagh.
A private graveside service has taken place. |
