CLARK, Steven G. - Of Davison, age 78, died Monday, December 18, 2023 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Elder Kevin Berry officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
Visitation 4-8pm Thursday and 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Steven was born in Flint, Michigan on July 5, 1945, the son of the late Arthur and Alice (McDaniel) Clark. In May of 1967, he married Frances Gibbs and she preceded him in death on February 17, 2007. Steven was employed at General Motors V8 Engine Plant and was a member of UAW Local #659. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He especially loved watching the Tigers and Lions games with his grandsons.
Surviving are daughter, Heidi (Chris) Wagner;
son, Steven (Leslie) Clark;
grandchildren, Aaron, Justin, Casey, Sawyer and Landry;
and great-grandson, Ranger Garrow.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill, sisters, Donna Stark and Janet Luce and “his best friend”, his special dog, Star.
