PAVATT, Vivian Avis (Malone) – of Burton, age 104, died Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Evangelist Mary Alice McClellan officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind-Rochester Hills. www.leaderdog.org
Visitation 11am Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Vivian was born in Eros, Louisiana on January 8, 1920, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Roberts) Malone. Vivian had resided in the Burton, Michigan area for over 70 years. She married Richard Pavatt on July 29, 1941 and he preceded her in death on September 22, 2000. Vivian was a life-long member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, now known as the Community of Christ Church. She retired from Consumers Energy.
Surviving are daughters, Phyllis (Donald) Fraidenburg of Grand Blanc, Charlotte (Roger) Foutch of Fenton;
grandchildren, Amanda (Keith) Kolesar of Linden, Ashleigh Foutch of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Bradley (Alexandra) Foutch of Linden;
step-granddaughter, Deborah (Clark) Kent of Danville, KY;
great-grandchildren, Kaden and Kayla Kolesar; Grant, Livia and Jack Foutch;
step-great-grandchildren, Dennis Kent, Amy Darnell, Olivia and Addison Darnell, and Madison and Adam Kent;
nieces, Susan Simpson, Sharon Weddle and Gail Easley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Ray Pavatt, granddaughter, Tracy Root and son-in-law, William Root, parents, William Herman and Mary Elizabeth Malone, brothers, Romulus Malone, Barney (Elsie) Malone, sister, Marilyn Joan (Ross) Rash,
