DAVIS, Alvin “Sonny” – of Flint, age 83, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Hurley Medical Center. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Military honors will be held at 5 PM Friday. Cremation will take place following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, in Alvin’s memory.
Sonny was born in Bell City, MO on November 9, 1938, son of the late Lawrence and Helen (Lee) Davis. Sonny proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1962-1967. He married Beverly Glanton on August 29, 1959. Sonny loved collecting beer cans and spending lots of time outdoors.
Sonny is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; children, Erin (Lance) Fraim, Troy (Jenna) Davis; grandchildren, Chelsea, Erick, Mackenzie, Jordan (Christian), Grifyn, Paisley, Piper; great-granddaughter, Payton; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by brother, Larry and sister, Emma Jean.
