KIPPE, Larrilee Ann - Age 82, of Swartz Creek, passed away February 10, 2022 after a short battle with Sepsis. She was born November 23, 1939 in Flint, Michigan to Lawrence S. and V. Ione Riley. She married Edward J. Kippe on December 20, 1958 at Fleming Road Presbyterian Church.
As a graduate of Northern High School in 1957, U of M Flint in 1963 with a Bachelor of Education and U of M Ann Arbor in 1973 with a Master of Education, she had a long career as an elementary teacher in the Beecher School District. She also mentored college students on becoming professional and caring teachers.
She was involved in Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Sunday and Vacation Bible School at Fleming Road Presbyterian Church, also Mariner's and Women's Group. She was currently a member of Resurrection Reformed Church. An avid knitter; she made many sweaters and afghans. The most important thing in her life was her family. Spending time with friends and being up north around a roaring campfire.
She is survived by her sons, Edward Kippe and Andrew Kippe; daughter-in-law, Jodi Kippe; grandson, Alexander Kippe.
In lieu of memorial contributions, her wish was to have everyone read a book to a child.
