Duanne LaVerne VanRiper Jr. 66, of Durand, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 25, 2021. His family will receive friends at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 11:00am-3:00pm, a dinner will follow at the Durand Eagles Club at 4:00pm.
Duanne was born on July 27, 1954 in Durand to Duanne LaVerne VanRiper Sr. and Bessie Inez Bowers. He graduated from Durand High School and spent 28 years as a diesel mechanic. Duanne could often be found fishing, watching NASCAR, or riding his motorcycle; he was a member of the Durand Eagles Club, and a proud member of the Eagles Riders.
Duanne is survived by his mother, Bessie, his daughters; Ashlee (Kris) Shenk, Tamera Feldhouse, Christina (Gary) Goldner, and Amanda Feldhouse, his granddaughter, Rebecca, and his siblings; Karen (Dale) Cole, Carolyn Navarro, Rick VanRiper, and Becky Simonds, also 6 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his Father, Duanne Sr. and his sister, Teresa.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the VanRiper family for future designation.
