WILSON, Dale H. - of Montrose, age 69, died Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors for a memorial gathering at 1PM on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Montrose Family Worship Center.
Dale was born May 26, 1945 in Flint to the late Harry and Ruth (Atkinson) Wilson and raised by his grandparents, the late Joseph and Blanche Atkinson. He married Charlotte McConnell on February 2, 1973, they enjoyed 22 years together. Dale worked for Thompson Boats and Crest Pontoons for many years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Dale also enjoyed going to the casino, partying and having a good time with family and friends. Above all, Dale enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are: wife, Charlotte Wilson; children, Teresa Carnahan (Rich Doyle) of Saginaw, Matt (Stacy) McConnell of Birch Run, Daleleana Wilson of Montrose; 9 grandchildren, Richard Carnahan, Marcus Doyle, Abby Petrey, Brandie Atwell, Dustin and Dillion McConnell, Courtney, Travis and Mckala Wilson; 3 great grandchildren, Alonna Schack, Bowan Wilson and Nolan Schack; brother, Leroy (Shirley) Wilson; sister, Betty Vincent; many nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry Wayne and Howard Cecil Wilson; brother in law, Larry Vincent.
