Margaret E. Russell, age 95, of Flushing, Michigan passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. Margaret was born on December 11, 1927, in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Truman and Dora (Lugg) Langfield. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She married John Russell and have five children, eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Margaret enjoyed reading, cooking/baking, playing games and visiting family. She created many joyous memories with her family, and will be dearly missed.
Margaret leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Lon Douglas, Julie Anne Howie, James Truman and Wayne Edward and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband John Stanley Russell and son John Russell III.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Baptist Church - 3755 County Rd. 456, Skandia, Michigan 49885.
A visitation at church for Margaret will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Trinity Baptist Church - 4222 N. Elms Road, Flushing, Michigan followed by a funeral service at 1:30 PM. Margaret will be laid to rest on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, MI.
